Healthy skin is easy to maintain. You need to take a proper care of skin and follow a healthy lifestyle routine to get the healthy skin. It is mandatory to follow certain skin care rules in order to avoid the skin from getting damaged. Unless you pay a proper attention toward skin you will not be able to get it healthier. 

Understanding your skin type is the preliminary step towards the skin care. Skin is very fragile and sensitive part of the body, and most importantly it is very hard to regain the right posture of skin once it is damaged. Eat healthy and balanced diet to get the healthy skin. What you eat is how your skin is. All the nutrients should be present in your body in adequate amount as firstly these nutrients do all the essential functions of the body and then provide the nutrition to skin. Specifically for the healthy skin the enough amount of Vitamin C and E are required. For these vitamins we recommend you to eat citrus fruits, tomatoes, and sunflower seeds. These vitamins help the skin to stay at optimum health by slowing down the process of skin aging.

Skin Care Secret 2:

Moisturizing the skin is necessary part that must be done regularly and without missing it. Specifically during the cold season, you should moisturize your skin at least twice in a day. Applying the moisturizing lotion or cream is the best way to do it. Avoid using the chemical based synthetic moisturizing creams or lotions because they would harm your skin instead of nourishing it. It would be better if you apply the cream or lotion before you go for the sleep at night. This will help to get the better results. Also use it if you going out in the cold weather.

Drink adequate amount of water. Water is the most essential nutrient required by the skin. The tone of stature of the skin is dependent upon the water content in the body. If you drink less water, your skin would be dry. This would trigger more skin damage, whereas if you drink enough amount of water then your skin would be healthy. Water also plays a very important role in providing nutrients to the skin all over the world. Water helps to clean the skin. This process is being carried out by the sweating process that is carried out to maintain the body temperature. Even the glow of the skin is very much good if you drink adequate amount of water.

Good amount of sleep helps you to maintain the better skin condition. The more you sleep; the better would be the health of your skin. Getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep is very beneficial for the skin health. Sleep induces the growth of the hormones that are necessary for the healthy skin growth and it also retards the production of the tress hormones cortisol and epinephrine that promotes the aging process i.e. wrinkle formation. Good amount of sleep helps to regularize the blood flow, oxygen, and nutrient supply to the all body parts. Certainly even the skin is benefited due to it as your skin gets all the required amount of nutrients.

Seasonal skin care is important as different methods needs to be opted to protect the skin in different seasons. As in the winter season we need to prevent the skin from getting exposed to the cold weather. So, cover your face with the scarf and wear fully body covered clothes. This would help you to prevent the skin from the damage caused by cold wind. During the summer season, protect your skin by wearing bright clothes as they will refract the sun rays. Cover your entire skin with thin clothes so that your skin remains covered and even the aeration is proper. Wear loose clothes during the summer season.
